Biography

Chuck Alden is a shadow in the story of American pop music — a name that drifts between scenes, eras, and genres. Cutting his teeth in New York’s doo-wop circles alongside The Crests and the legendary Johnny Maestro, Alden’s early harmonies carried the street-corner soul of the city into the spotlight. He later stepped into rock history as guitarist and vocalist for United Artists’ The Wild Ones, the band behind the first-ever recording of “Wild Thing” His own single, “Running Out Of Kisses,” found chart success, but Alden has always moved on before the applause faded — leaving just enough behind for collectors and fans to chase. Part doo-wop romantic, part blues renegade, Chuck Alden remains an enduring, if elusive, figure in American music, continuing to release his solo works such as I've Lost Her in 2024 and Don't Hurt The Children in 2025.
